Welcome to our gorgeous hillside cottage. Well appointed with modern amenities, this cottage is the perfect location for your next getaway. This 2014 Muskoka cottage has four bedrooms. Granite countertops, farmhouse sink and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. Professionally cleaned after every stay. Outside, you'll find a charming back yard with large fire pit and a private beach with sandy walk-in water access, and dock. Winter and summer activities abound.

Built upon a hilltop, the cottage boasts gorgeous views of Fawn Lake from the spacious balcony. You'll enter on the main floor, into a mudroom/laundry. Ahead is the open concept kitchen (granite countertops, farmhouse sink, stainless steel appliances), dining room and living room, all with beautiful lake views. The dining room table seats 10, with an additional 3 seats at the island. Leather couches and a flatscreen appoint the living room. In addition, there is a main floor master (one king) with a cheater ensuite. Upstairs you'll find a second living room with a pull out couch, flat screen tv and an xbox with games. On the second floor you'll also find another queen bedroom with a cheater ensuite and two additional bedrooms (each with a queen and a single bunk bed).

The landscape outside of the cottage is gorgeous. The cottage, built into a ridge of the iconic Muskoka gneiss rock is accessed by two flights of stairs an a steep driveway. There are three parking spots on the lower driveway, and one parking spot at the top of the driveway. Easily accessible in the summer, the top parking spot should be reserved for a 4x4 vehicle in the winter. The beautiful and private beach is easily accessible across the dirt road, down only a few steps. The cottage boasts SUP boards, kayaks and canoes for you to enjoy in the clear, shallow lake: perfect for swimming, water sports and sand play for the little ones. The backyard of the cottage boasts its own charm. Isolated and lush, it feels like a secret forest, complete with a large fire pit. Feel free to bring your own boat, the boat launch is just a five minute walk down the road.

Summary: Had a gear stay over the New Years holiday. It was good being able to walk across the road to create a skating rink for the kids. The cottage was cozy and we especially liked the separate hangout spaces for kids and adults (although sound carried throughout the cottage). The beds were comfortable, the showers hot and the kitchen very well stocked. Nicole was very responsive and quickly addressed our few needs (location of shovels to create the rink). Well worth the visit but you definitely have to be in great shape to manage the stairs and the driveway!

Summary: The house is huge and can host a large party. Rooms are spacious, kitchen is beautiful. Has a huge deck overlooking the lake. Access to lake is across the road from the house but is private and gorgeous. Cottage has canoe, kayaks and boards available for use. Wifi is poor so bring games and DVDs but every room has a TV. Honestly, a great place to stay.

Summary: We absolutely loved our stay at this cottage! Room arrangements were perfect for our three families with kids. The private area of sandy beach was loved by all....especially the children! We used the stand up paddle boards and kayaks every day. The boat dock was easy to use and we loved the lake (though didn't catch any fish unfortunately, the size was perfect for water skiing and tubing). The one trouble spot was some ants in the kitchen (though there were some ant traps, the ants were still interested in our food!) Sincerely wish this cottage was availble for rent next year as we would jump at the chance to stay again!

Summary: We spent the weekend on the well groomed. Muskoka snowmobile trails over the family day weekend. There are many small loops to do in the area, which made it perfect for our family since we couldn’t all go out at once. The cottage was a lovely, clean and well laid out place to come back to to relax and fellowship together. The cottage is high on a hill, so be mindful that you will get a little exercise walking up & down the stairs. And if you have a trailer you will have to park it at a drop off place for snowmobile trailers (the ultramar around the corner in town was sufficient for us, there appeared to be other places along the trails.)

Summary: This was the first cottage my family had stayed at (i have stayed at other cottages before) and we loved it ! Norm was great in terms of answering my questions and he was accomdating in terms of the check out time. The house is gorgeous as it is fully renovated. Summary: The lake is really small but in our case it was an advantage for the kids. There is a great selection of water crafts - paddle boards, kayaks etc. that enabled the kids to really enjoy the lake. Be prepared for a lot of exercise up and down the hill and stairs to the cottage.
