Positive: Lovely view, great kitchen and lounge with fantastic fireplace. Very peaceful with a nice forest walk right on the doorstep.

Negative: The 2 beds that were made up were unbelievably uncomfortable - both of us had bad backs and necks after one sleep. On our 3rd night we made up the other bed which was fine.

Summary: Lovely place with wonderful living areas. The place is let down only by the bedrooms.

Positive: The cottage is beautifully renovated and has an incredible atmosphere throughout. All the little touches add to the experience- from the quirky pictures on the walls, to the gorgeous cookware and even an Alison Roman cookbook. The kitchen is just dreamy! We stayed during the Christmas period, and the decorations were lovely to add to the festive spirit of our girls weekend away. It was all so cosy! Our dogs enjoyed a good run around the garden too and the forest on your doorstep was such a treat!

Negative: The house was very cold on arrival but once we got the fire lit it was quickly rectified. It was the perfect cosy spot to weather the storm outside!

Positive: Lovely accommodation overall. Very clean and homely. Milk in the fridge and bread was a lovely touch. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the house to friends

Negative: There was very little that I didn't like about this property. It was a little hard to find but a phone call to the host sorted that out for us.
