Positive: As many reviewers mentioned, truly unique. For us up with a longhouse in Sarawak and timber cabin in Alaska. Host were excellent, brief introductory tour and then on our own. Wife found stone circular stairs a challenge but our hosts had provided a plentiful selection of food. Covered both evening meal and breakfast.

Negative: Nothing.

Positive: Spectacular place, honestly it was way nicer then I thought it was going to be. The owner was super friendly and knowledgeable about the property. A little out of town but easy to reach with a train and a little taxi ride but so calm and peaceful after the chaos that is Edinburgh.
