Positive: 10 out of 10 because we could't give more! We had a wonderful stay at this unique treehouse. Everything was clean and the food was absolutely delicious—most of it actually comes straight from Saman's self-sufficient farm. He even treated us to the freshest mangoes, coconuts and guavas right from his trees! Samal and his family are incredibly kind and welcoming hosts. A highlight was the free cooking class in the evening where we learned to make traditional Sri Lankan dishes—accompanied by some local coconut arrack! You can truly feel Samal’s passion and his love for detail in every corner of the stay. He even went above and beyond to help us with our daily planning. If you want to support a motivated local and have an authentic experience, this is the place for you!

Positive: The house is located in a large, beautiful garden, away from busy areas—quiet in the mornings, and you can get a good night's sleep. The host, Saman, is very hospitable and wonderful. In the morning, a good and tasty breakfast is served at a time convenient for you. The location is convenient, with Sigiriya being about a 7-minute drive away.

Positive: We had an amazing getaway at the Farming Tree House... It’s truly a peaceful environment... and so beautiful. The place is beautiful, the room is very nice and comfortable. Positive: What an experience! The tree house is located on a farm in a beautiful, green area full of plants and animals. Staying in the tree house itself awakens the child in one: imagine a comfortable little asylum above a limitless greenery! The owners, a young couple, make sure you feel comfortable and happy. They arranged a safari for us, they offered tuktuk service. They prepare delicious, ecological food (huge portions), the breakfast is very rich and we even asked them to give us a cooking class, and it was absolutely great! Highly recommend this experience ❤️❤️❤️

Negative: Nothing to complain about, just a heads up: If you want a lifetime experience prepare to stay in a remote location, with cold shower and poor internet. No problem for us 😁

It was truly the perfect escape, and honestly, we wouldn’t change a single thing about the house. It was beautiful, serene, and full of character. What made our stay even more special was the host Mr. Samad. He went above and beyond in every way to make sure we felt comfortable and taken care of. He guided us, showed us around, recommended places to visit, and always made sure we had everything we needed. His kindness and genuine hospitality made a huge difference. The meals were absolutely amazing, prepared with so much care by his wonderful wife, who is an exceptionally talented cook. Each dish felt like it was cooked with love, full of flavor and warmth. And whenever there was something we didn’t prefer, they immediately adjusted it with so much understanding and generosity. This wasn’t just accommodation; it was a heartfelt experience, one that made us feel welcomed, valued, and connected. We left with beautiful memories and so much appreciation for the hosts. Positive: What a amazing place. A different experience in the middle of a plantation. We really had a very enjoyable day. The safari prices are also very reasonable. Positive: Staying at Farming Tree House was a wonderful experience. The tree house is simple yet very comfortable, surrounded by nature and perfect for relaxing after exploring Dambulla. What really makes this place special is the host, Saman. He is extremely kind, always ready to help, and makes you feel at home from the very first moment. The home-cooked meals he prepared with fresh ingredients from the farm were absolutely delicious. Even though the property is new, it already offers something unique and full of charm. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily come back!
