Positive: Beautiful, welcoming homestay close to Abashiri. Everything was clean, comfortable rooms and beautiful surrounding. Perfect place to explore the area, the kitchen is well equipped for self-catering and the hosts are exceptionally helpful and friendly.

Positive: This is a lovely place, with a lot of other people to stay in this house. We can cook, we can make friends. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I think this is a perfect place for anyone who is lonely at the moment, it feels warm and feels like home.

Negative: It’s a bit small of so many people, and only one toilet. Not a big problem. Also amazing how can everyone be well with each other.

Positive: Booked last minute and had a wonderful if too short stay! The host was very helpful and nice, even with a slight language barrier. The room was comfortable and came with yukatas (which no other hostel style place on our trip provided!).

Negative: Only one bathroom for many guests, but their rota system did a good job of dealing with this
