Negative: The price of a medium white wine.. £10 for one glass is extortionate. And it was the cheapest wine being served. For that price you should be serving quality decent wine not cheap stuff. Bar staff also included gratuity charge without our knowledge.. only found when checking receipts. Shouldn't they have asked ?

Positive: Very friendly staff. Excellent location and beautiful grounds. Room. Was very comfortable.

Negative: Breakfast buffet . Went down at 9am for breakfast, and there was no fresh fruit. Asked for a replenish of the bowl, which never materialised . Other than that, the cooked buffet was very good. .

Positive: Fantastic service from Abbi and Damien Abbi changed our room on arrival as we said we hadn't known about the wedding..the room was in a quieter bit but sadly still very noisy

Negative: Very noisy people on the corridor...talking banging doors..kept us awake for a lot of the night Would have liked to know before that there was a wedding as we would not have booked.We stay at Classic lodge hotels regularly and in the past have been told and this allowed us to change the date of our stay.

Positive: The breakfast has a number of options and was served well

Negative: This company has a dreadful habit of inserting a 'service charge' when you receive your bill. It means you have to alter your approach and there is a sense of unnecessary embarrassment. They have adequate rooms but bizarrely only place two small pillows on a large bed which makes it look like someone has borrowed the other two pillows for another room

Summary: It's a repeat stay - staff overstretched so they couldn't serve bar customers, i will return
