Sitting in the middle of the El Dorado National Forest, only 5 miles South of the Sierra-at-Tahoe Ski Resort, our home offers comfort and class. Just off Hwy 50 on Strawberry Ln, this great community offers a stylish vacationing experience.
When you enter the front door of our home, it opens up to the spacious Living Area that provides comfortable and stylish seating for our guests. The open area of the first level combines the kitchen, dining, sitting and lounging areas for everyone to enjoy. There is a large HD TV in the Living Area and the first floor also has a large bedroom and full bath for easy access. Upstairs opens up to a sleeping area with three twin beds. Down the hall on the second floor is another full bath and the third bedroom. All rooms are decorated with local furnishings that incorporate styles of the area with lavish linens.
Sliding doors in the Living area open outside to a large front deck with outdoor seating and lounging. You will relax in style while enjoying the quiet surroundings of the Strawberry Neighborhood or cooking on the large Weber BBQ for the best outdoor experience. Across the street is the South Fork of the American River. There is easy access to the banks of the river and the river flows plenty of crystal clear mountain water all year long. The river offers many features including swimming, wading, fishing or just relaxing along the banks.
The Strawberry area provides an exclusive vacationing experience. The famous Strawberry Lodge is across the river as you enter the neighborhood. There is a local market just across Hwy 50, Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort is 5 miles up Hwy 50. The property and area has immediate access to Forest Service trails and roads.

Summary: Owner let us in earlier. House is clean and cozy. Kitchen had extra supplies and spices which was nice. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Summary: This cabin is super awesome and cozy! We came for the snow (from Houston, TX) and we were not disappointed! This cabin is on a very quiet street surrounded by a snowy forest in the mountains. It's really beautiful. The cabin itself is amazing with everything you could possibly need to make yourself at home and enjoy your surroundings, we found sleds for the snow to use. It is spacious enough for 2 families with kids, there is masters up and down stairs and the loft area has beds/play area for kids. This cabin is probably even better in the summer because of the outdoor living area and front porch with grill, we didn't get to enjoy them because they're covered in snow, but hope to return one day in the summer months.

Summary: Perfect size for our blended family. Nice sleeping loft for kids and 2 master bedrooms for adults. Perfect Perfect stay. About 30 mins for everything in South Lake and snow parks. Thank you!

Summary: The home was very lovely. It was in a wonderful location, could hear the river at night while sleeping. A quick 30 minute or less drive to South Shore. There was plenty of room for all 6 of us. The kitchen had everything we needed. Overall, it was very nice. We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: The place was awesome with a really cool room in the back to hangout in. It was also very spacious. The kitchen was packed with everything you would need and more. The location can get a bit tough since there is only 1 road there and there was an accident during our stay that added an hour to the commute back after our beach trip. That being said, the place is close to many cool places and is not that far from South Lake Tahoe casinos (less the traffic). Another cool note is that there are sleds in the garage that could be used in the winter.

Summary: Would come stay here again and again! We had a great time and enjoyed everything from the cabin to it’s surroundings! Instructions for check in/out as well as cabin use and rules are very clear and detailed. Everything you need is included in the cabin! Great getaway!
