Summary: A truly relaxing property. Huge, beautiful gardens provided the most serene setting for sitting out under the olive trees. A large pool where you could really get your laps in and lemon and lime trees with an abundance of fruit to pick. The house was very traditional. Lots of space and a very quirky ground floor. The pictures on Vrbo don't do it justice. The hosts made us very welcome and were very flexible with checking in early. Response times were great as we got a bit lost trying to find the villa. Couldn't have asked for a more friendly host. Thank you.

Summary: This property is a proper jewel in the region. Ideally located, the marvelous garden and its facilities (pool, bbq, porch, lemon trees). The village meets every first needs (bakery, café, pizza place, etc) and you can easily get around other places (Porto, Braga, etc…). The host is incredibly helpful and available. You can definitely pick this blind folded!

Summary: We spent a week together with an another family at this lovely place. We enjoyed the privacy and the peace and quiet, and the kids loved the pool. The house was very clean and modern and our host was very welcoming. The location is a bit off, but that didn't bother us at all since there were many nice places to visit just a short drive away. We would love to come back some time again in the future, and I want to give the place and the host my warmest recommendations!

Summary: What a great villa!!!!! This villa has all you can dream of: several bedrooms and bathrooms and a divine swimming pool surrounded by English-like-green-lawns. The house is spacious and comfortable and is decorated with taste. The garden is surrounded by a stone wall, covered with (fruit) plants and beautiful flowers, which give you lots of privacy. Northern Portugal is a must see: an amazing green scenery, very sunny and warm but nog as hot as the Algarve. From the villa you are within less than an hour in the beautiful city of Porto, or the medieval towns of Guimaraes and Braga. Also worth a visit is the northeast with its beautiful nature and rural scenery. Not to forget of course, the Atlantic coast with its great beaches is only a 15 minutes drive. Summary: We had a terrific time in this house, garden and surroundings. Owners are so friendly and caring. Everything had been prepared into detail upon our arrival, the garden was just taken care of. In mid-week the cleaners came to clean everything and change the sheets. The house and garden are a pleasure to be in and added that extra to our holiday! Would highly recommend this place to others and for sure we'll be back! Kind rgrds, Maarten
