Positive: Chez Paul is a sweet little house with powder blue shutters and a small garden that could have been painted by Cézanne. The interior is quite simple, but sufficient, including a washing machine in an outhouse and effortless parking directly in front of the picket fence. The hamlet "Les Sablons" was very serene and offered great opportunities for long walks through a landscape that has "La Provence" written all over it, although Avignon and Orange are only a half hour drive away. Good Wi-Fi!
Negative: The mobile phone reception was really bad.

Positive: Small, comfortable and well equipped gite in the middle of nowhere in Provence. My rather duff satnav had difficulty in locating the property but the owner came out by car to guide us in. Not too difficult to find if you have proper directions. The WiFi is excellent with easy connection and good line speed. There a two gites with a medium-sized swimming pool. Nearest town is Sarrians, which is small and quiet with a couple of restaurants and supermarkets. A little further is Orange, which is a bit livelier.
Negative: Needs a bread knife and refrigerator ice trays, otherwise, very good.
Summary: For a quiet, leasurely retreat in Provence this is the place!
