Summary: it was the perfect location for our extended family. we were in town for a wedding located in downtown Janesville, just 5 min away. The game room kept the teens busy. the multiple bedrooms on the main floor was great for grandparents. The owner was very attentive to any needs/questions.

Summary: Jamie is a wonderful host who went way beyond the norm to make our visit a success. She had a ramp to accommodate my mom’s wheelchair and set up tables to seat 15 guests and generally made our Thanksgiving a success.

Summary: Very clean, comfortable house in a beautiful setting. Enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone to stay in the same house. Wonderful deck for sunny days and gorgeous sunsets, as well as a cozy fireplace for chillier days and nights. Well appointed kitchen. Lots of fun board games, air hockey, old time video games and a karaoke machine too! The hosts went above and beyond, they truly care and it shows. We had an issue at a very inconvenient time for the host and they solved it completely in less than an hour. I mean it - STAY HERE!

Summary: This was our third return to the Rock Riverside Retreat and it did not disappoint! Jaime and the owners are extremely accommodating and quick to respond. There was even a tornado that went through Janesville two days before our arrival and we were still able to check in early! :) The house, of course, is great. Clean, plenty of space, great for families with kids of all ages. We enjoyed the little beach even though the river level was high. We used the ping pong table, and the grade-school aged kids really loved the game room this year. (And bunk room with a secret door to the game room!) Had a great time! See you next year!
