Positive: Large Japanese style house. Everything is satisfactory +++. Heating is excellent with 3 split system air-conditioners. Owners are friendly like most Japanese. Lighting is excellent. Large bedrooms. Large family room. Parking is not that difficult. Easy to find the house. Exceptionally clean. Value for money.
Negative: It would be great if sugar is provided for coffee.

Positive: The place felt like it combined modern with traditional architecture. The low wood cross-beams provided cushioning for taller people. The layout and commodities of the dwelling were all well planned out from its construction!
Negative: Perhaps because we were not accustomed to the very narrow roads, it was difficult to reach the parking location without a spotter - at least while driving a Toyota Rav 4. It was also a little confusing with respect to AC usage. Many places generally request the AC be turned off when one leaves for long periods of time. This place left the AC running (warm) when we arrived, so we continued to run things the way we received them (turn it warm when leaving and cool when we got back). We got a warning from the host asking us to turn off the AC unit when they found it running while we were away. Finally, it's about a 30 min walk to the nearest station - recommend a car or taxi.
Summary: Some complications and inconveniences, but still nice and comfortable place to stay

Positive: It was very nice to stay in a real Japanese house. It was well outfitted and very clean with many amenities. It was a little hard to find in the dark. Hostess was very friendly and communicative
