Positive: Great spacious apartment in a beautiful location overlooking Rothbury Golf Course. Two wide car parking spaces. Easy check-in with lock-box. Great communication from host.

Negative: WiFi had good reception but was a bit slow (5Mbps download, and only 0.5Mbps upload). Decking outside patio door extremely slippery when damp (we were warned of this, but it still made the patio mostly unusable) - it needs a good clean/sanding down. £200 refundable damage deposit required.

Positive: Great location for exploring. The cottage itself was very spacious and modern with everything you could need, including an equipment store. It was very clean, and the beds were super comfy. You could walk to Rothbury via the public footpath through the golf course next door, which was about 20 minutes. We'd definitely stay again.

Negative: Couldn't fault anything.
