Negative: Manual for house had a blank page for heating information Multitude of switches in Kitchen and Boiler and Dishwasher switches not labelled Both turned off when looking how to turn lights appliance etc When in a new house for a short time Clear instructions in house manual are very important. Minimal supplies of soap and toilet paper Clean sheets but mattress toppers should also be washed occasionally as quite musty

Summary: House was a great place to come back to after 10 miles each day of coastal path but as seasoned walkers we have stayed

Positive: Location was perfect you even had a sea view so wonderful to wake up too, really close to the village with fish and chip shop some cafes a pub ,Co op shop within walking distance too, there was a hot tub style bath that lit up felt very luxurious to bathe in and was close drive to tintagel and Boscastle for day trips had an amazing carvery roast dinner at the old inn 20 minutes drive away from the house and the conservatory was really nice to drink your tea in the morning looking over the garden kitchen was lovely size to cook was very well equipped had everything you would need ,house was really clean. The stain glass window was very pretty.

Negative: I didn't like the bed it was way too hard I struggled sleeping because it was so uncomfortable the stairs was terrible I really struggled to get and down them I literally dreaded going upstairs they felt dangerous they just too steep and the towels felt horrible thin and cheap such a shame because a big fluffy towel and nice bed sheets are small things but makes such a difference but overall it was very clean and great location.

Positive: Great location, full of character. Kitchen was perfect. View of the sea with sea breeze into upper floor

Negative: Unfortunately the bed was very hard and very poor quality bedding more like teenage student standard which let it down.

Summary: It was perfect for a short break with family. We felt very relaxed in the house.

Positive: Fairholme is a superb property. It is airy, spacious, comfortable, very tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is extremely well appointed with more than enough crockery, cutlery and glassware as well as provisions for every sort of cooking imaginable - including baking tins if you fancied making a cake. The 3 double bedrooms are delightful - especially the upstairs one with ensuite facilities. As a group of walkers, we found the location excellent - PORT ISAAC is approximately a 10 minute walk down hill into the town but probably nearer to 12 - 15 minute walk back up the steep hill. I would not recommend the walk to people with impaired mobility and although there is car parking outside the town this would need to be taken into account when choosing this property. The property does have private parking for 2 vehicles which is extremely useful especially as it is located on a quiet cul de sac without any through traffic. I cannot recommend this property highly enough - it was delightful and one of the best appointed rental holiday properties we have ever stayed in. PORT ISAAC itself needs no introduction - it is a most delightful Cornish coastal town.

Negative: The property met all our excpectations and did not disappoint in any way.
