Positive: Everything was perfect! The breakfast, the view, the cottage and the hosts all exceeded our expectations. We felt taken care of and it was in a perfect setting, it was clean, authentic and thoughtful in every detail!

Positive: Incredible hospitality from the host. We were made so welcome. A small chalet with, under usual circumstances a sea view, it was cloudy and wet for much of our stay. The chalet studio was immaculate and had everything one needs for a short stay. Wonderful big bed. Parking next to the chalet. Breakfast was provided in a hamper, beautiful with home made products. We left early on our last morning and were kindly provided with a picnic to take with us. We enjoyed the location, a great position on the island, close to a pizza restaurant and small shop. An easy drive to Horta.

Negative: Nothing.

Positive: - The nice talks with the super friendly host. - The breakfast with the homemade bread and lots of coffee - The small charming cottage was perfect for me travelling alone and was just super comfy, clean and cozy with a nice terrasse where you can enjoy the stunning sea view and the lovely garden. - The location in its quite and peaceful rural area but still a few nice bars/restaurants and a grocery store nearby (Xavier).

Negative: Actually nothing

Summary: I had a great relaxing stay in Faial's peaceful northern part & the hosts are just super kind.

Positive: We loved everything! A beautiful, cozy cottage with amazing hosts. Everything was comfortable and clean, and the hosts went above and beyond. We really regret not booking a longer stay. We really appreciated being able to to get wine and snacks, since many stores were closed. It was so nice to chat with Olaf(Olav? Sorry for the spelling 🙏) when we arrived too! The restaurant up the hill was absolutely incredible and only a short walk away. We would have gladly stayed much longer here. It felt so serene.

Positive: - everything was spotless clean - ⁠Bed is big and comfortable - ⁠Shower has enough warm water and good water-pressure - ⁠Breakfast tastes very good and its a big portion (eggs, joghurt, selfmade bread, cheese, ham,…) - ⁠It is like a small cute cabin, you live there alone, owners have a house next to it, your parking spot is directly next to the cabin - everything is very private. - ⁠There is a small terrace with nice view on the ocean. - ⁠Restaurants are nearby (e.g. Local kitchen or italian pizza - but you have to consider the opening hours/days; you can also ask the owners, they are helpful to recommend sth.) - ⁠The owners are super friendly and really nice people

Positive: The view is amazing. Wonderful breakfast. The cottage is super nice and the bed is very comfortable. It is a bit isolated but Faial is a small island. Restaurants, hiking trails, and other activities are close by. The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful. Thanks again for three lovely days :)

Positive: This was such an amazing stay for me and my husband. The owners build this place with love and you can just see and feel that they pour their heart every day to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The breakfast is absolutely fantastic with homebaked bread and cake! 🤤

Negative: We came from cold country so air condioning would be nice but it was still amazing.
