Positive: Pretty much everything. Clean, wanting for nothing - the best stocked with pans, plates, etc, that we have seen. Communication with the owner was spot on. Utterly quiet and lighting fast broadband. The shower was perfect. I'm sure an estate agent would call it 'charming'. They'd be right on the money - but would have to add 'relaxing', 'private', 'quiet', and so on. The price was more than reasonable - In fact, we thought it was a bargain. Access was dead easy, and parking on the road was no trouble. The surprise of a second floor loft space with a Sega console was not unwelcome - especially to the teenage contingent.

Negative: A) That we weren't staying longer. B) That my son beat me at Tetris on the Sega.

Summary: If you haven't booked this place, you should. Now.

Negative: The upstairs rooms get very warm in the heatwave we were having, nothing can be done about it so no fault of the property, some advise if you are staying open the windows soon as you arrive!

Positive: The cottage was cosy and warm with excellent furnishings, attention to detail and comfortable beds. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for self catering and the shower was great. Thick fluffy towels were appreciated the courtyard garden was lovely place to spend evenings surrounded by colourful flowers. We will definitely be visiting again.

Positive: The host was very informative on the run up to our stay. The cottage was easy to find, very spacious and exceptionally well equipped. Very cosy inside and homely. Cute little touches with chilled processco. The bed was really comfortable and the shower was incredible! Cutest little court yard, a real sun trap!

Negative: The cottage was overall really tidy, however it was quite dusty in obvious places such as bedside units and windowsills.

Positive: Lovely, little cottage in a quiet village. The property is equipped with everything you need for your stay. Beds are comfortable, games room was a nice bonus and kitchen was spacious. Nice courtyard with chairs was a sun trap and perfect for sitting with a cuppa after a long walk. Small playground at the end of the village (5 minutes walk) for children.

Negative: The gate could do with a bolt on the inside as we couldn’t let our dog out there on his own incase it was opened from the outside. It’s straight onto a main road.

Positive: Small but nice cottage in the countryside. Large enough for 3 or 4 guests. In the quiet village of Avon Dasset, not too far from M40. Small shop relatively close by car. Sue is a very friendly host but not needed her assistance furing the stay as all is problem free. Oh, and good shower, by the way.

Negative: Kitchen is nice but for cooking I missed a hood over the hob.
