Summary: Lovely location close to the town. Whilst more traditional hotel what it may lack in gadgets is more than made up by the wonderful staff and breakfast. In check in a few places to eat work recommended and they were great. The breakfast exceeded our expectations. Great value , would stay again in this lovely city.

Summary: Absolutely loved my stay. I was unlucky to end up in Ljubjlana during a heatwave which means the hotel came to my rescue a number of times because it was simply unbearable outside. The air conditioning was a game changer. The room was really spacious, very comfortable, giant bed, and the staff was extremely helpful at all times. The location is great as well, within walking distance from the main square and from the bus stop and train station. (Unrelated to the hotel but there were lots of works on the train station so plan accordingly). I loved this place and will definitely stay again. The only thing if I had to point anything, there’s not really a common area with a tv other than the bar which closes at 11pm and during the world cup it would have been nice to watch the games with more people which I wasn’t able to do

Summary: The room decor is modern and clean. Location is great. Breakfast was nicely presented. The hotel is used by tour groups and it can feel busy in dining areas and elevators. Biggest problem is the completely inadequate air conditioning. The room thermostat was set at 18c , but it never managed a room temperature below 26c during our stay. Sure, outside temperature was low 30s, but this is the new normal for summer. We stayed 3 nights, almost no sleep, could not stay any longer. Maintence team investigated but no solution. From reading reviews this seems to be a common problem at the hotel.

Summary: I had a great stay here. It's conveniently located, but not noisy.The staff were efficient and friendly. The buffet style breakfast was good with lots of choice. Highly recommended!

Summary: The hotel was in a great location. The rooms need to be redone. Chipping paint and scuff marks on the wall. One window was cracked and covered in electrical tape. The breakfast was dreadful. The potatoes were cold, the pastries had no taste and the selection was poor. The regular coffee was served in carafes and were always empty. When I asked the staff to refill it, they looked at me like I asked them to do 100 sit-ups. The front desk people were courteous and were able to help me with my reservations.

Summary: The view from our room was exceptional. We were lucky to be on the side of the Castle. It was a comfortable room with everything we needed. The breakfast had plenty of choice. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Good location within walking distance of the main sites and the railway station.

Summary: Breakfast good . No air conditioning in room . Only window cracked open 6 inches. Staff advised it was a short period of time between when heat was turned off and air conditioning to be turned on. Unlucky for us we stayed 3 nights during that “period of time”. Very stuffy in room during daytime. Got better only at night. Never used a blanket because of this. Would never stay again just because of this inconvenience. Plenty other places to stay. Staff were friendly though
