Positive: Very friendly welcome. Nice place, close to opportunities for sightseeing. Great view from the terrace Big parking Great coffee and frappe Very good taverns in the center of the village (5-10 min walk)

Negative: Asking for an extra 5 EUR for air conditioning, when it's 42 degrees outside, is almost a blackmail. I wouldn't mind paying five extra euros as part of the room price; holding the AC remote as a hostage is not cool (pun intended)

Positive: Great host and location. The garden is lovely, also the place is very quiet during the night (not accounting the roosters which start singing close to sunrise).

Negative: Bathroom is badly designed. The shower sink does not do its job, so expect a small puddle to form. The ventilator is very noisy, also under-powered. No insect nets on windows, you can expect to have some of the local fauna inside the room (we had one locust). For AC, you need to pay extra.

Positive: The location was perfect: beautiful view, quiet area, and walking distance to most of the main sites. Rooms were spacious and the older couple running the place very friendly and helpful.

Negative: One thing (but not about the hotel): the address listed in the booking.com info (as of May 2025) would fail in finding a location in Google or Apple Maps programs. This address seems to work: Ανακτόρων 5, Vergina 590 31, Greece
