Positive: we had a warm welcome and all the interactions from the staff to phillip the owner were great and made us feel at home. warm, helpful and informative. i know where i'll stay when i return to padang.

Negative: we arrived in the monsoon with heavy rain so the walk up the hill was little precarious. we arrived without notice otherwise they would have brought umbrellas and helped us with our baggage. they provided umbrellas so we were sorted when we went out for dinner and they helped carry our bags down when we left.

Negative: The days we went there were a bit messy due to a big booking from a group of 20 people. Otherwise it is a nice place.

Positive: This homestay has a fun holiday vibe, in the hills above Padang Old Town. But what makes it an amazing place to stay is the staff -- so positive and helpful and informative. The menu is an interesting mix of European and Indonesian: I loved the muesli and fruit for breakfast, and I honestly had the best vegetarian curry of my life.
