Positive: Great location close to Yosemite. Day tour with Tyler great and extremely informative. Breakfast and dinner at restaurant was good.

Negative: Attended the BBQ event at pool on 1st night. All food was luke warm at best and the BBQ was very tough. Should have just had dinner at restaurant.

Summary: Liked the quiet location in the woods with short drive over to Yosemite entrance.

Positive: We loved the facilities, particularly the restaurant where we had great food looking out over the forest. The room was a good size and the team lovely. We enjoyed being so close to the Hetch Hetchy Gate and 30 minutes from the Big Oak Flat entrance.

Negative: As with all Yosemite accommodation, the cost is higher than elsewhere for more basic accommodation (we had a vintage cabin so of course you can upgrade). Also it is family oriented, so lots of children eg in the pool which meant as an adult party we used those less. Also use lots of insect repellent, we did not use enough in the evening!

Positive: Secluded accommodation for visiting Yosemite. Loved being slightly outside of the national park as it felt like our own private part of the park. Having a bed in a tent was special as we felt like we were camping but with comfort. Loved listening to nature around us and seeing the stars from our bed.

Positive: Good location for the far end of Yosemite. Facilities were clean and well maintained.

Negative: Stayed in a glamping tent which was pretty good compared to normal camping. Tents were a bit close together and the one we had was very close to the bear food bins. The downside to that is they were really quite squeaky when opened or closed. Bed was fine for a night but I found it a bit hard so would have maybe suffered for longer. But I’m a side sleeper so maybe it was that.

Summary: Use earplugs and don’t try to go to sleep before 10:30pm and it’s good value for money.
