Positive: Breakfasts and dinner were all 5star ‘fine dining’ experiences, all prepared by the owner/chef Suren. A superb taste experience of Fresh organic ingredients. Suren makes good use of his extensive cottage garden. It was like having a Michelin experience in a country cottage garden!!

Positive: Evergreen truly delivers a unique experience! Not only were the accommodations sumptuous and clean (think well-oiled antique chairs paired with fresh linens and a super modern bathroom) but the food was next level. Prepared by owner-chef, Suren, breakfast was a feast, sourced from the backyard garden and plentiful. This was, by far, our favorite stay in France and some of our favorite food. The host was communicative and accommodating (and my daughter loved that there were cats roaming the garden grounds), and I loved the proximity to Giverny, fully restored historic town where Claude Monet lived and painted. Truly one of the best!

The breakfasts exceeded all expectations and were on a par with a five star luxury hotel. Evergreen is in the perfect position to visit Monets garden in Giverny and the town of Vernon both within walking distance.
