Summary: The hotel seems to be modern and offering clean well-presented rooms. The truth is far from it. The room was old and tired and not particularly clean feeling. The pillows were uncomfortable. The bathroom was basic and it was a struggle to get the stand-in the bath shower working properly. No soap. Had to use the shower gel in the shower/bath instead to wash hands. Tea/coffee making facilities very basic. The car park was absolutely jam packed and it took us 20 minutes to find a place (and that was only because a member of staff had finished his shift). We heard drum and bass music playing loudly from somewhere as we tried to get some sleep. Overpriced for what it offers.

Summary: Great check in. Really nice lady! Rooms was okay, got what we paid for. Bathroom could have had a soap dispenser by the sink and maybe some more options for soap and shampoo taking the price into concentration. Parking wasn't fantastic. Not clear on what was a space and what wasn't. We did find somewhere but could probably be more organised.

Summary: I am writing to express my profound disappointment with the service and treatment my partner and I received during our stay at the your Britannia Hotel from Friday, May 23rd to Monday, May 26th, 2025. Our experience was marred by several issues that need to be addressed. Firstly, we encountered rude and discriminatory behavior from a particular (he was even worst with his rudeness and disrespectful behavior last night (Sunday - all I wanted was 2 cups because they had been taken away when I complained how dirty everything was and I left them outside the door in the day time - returning to our room with zero cups - no toilet all weekend - I had to beg and keep walking to reception to get toilet roll - totally not acceptable!!! Toilet roll surely you provide toilet roll whether there is house keeping or not and I should not be made feel like an alien and uncomfortable as a guest, asking for toilet roll - that is wrong) night receptionist on duty during our stay. His attitude was particularly/very unacceptable, and we felt that our requests were dismissed in a manner that suggested bias against us due to my partner being Polish with a beard and my being Black. Additionally, the facilities were not up to standard. Despite understanding that housekeeping might be limited during the bank holiday, basic necessities like towels were refused, and we were denied additional supplies despite our room not being serviced.
