Positive: We had a great stay overall. The food was excellent, and the staff were amazing — a special shout-out to Christian at the beach bar! Our suite was located in the lovely pine tree area, surrounded by peace and tranquility. . The beach is clean and suitable for children. The only thing to keep in mind is that getting to the beach requires a short train ride. It runs every 30 minutes and takes about 10 minutes, so it may not suit you if you prefer complete flexibility.
Negative: Coming back from the beach around lunchtime or later in the afternoon can be a bit chaotic, as the train queue is more of a suggestion than a system. That said, if the train is full, the hotel sends another one almost immediately, so no one is left behind and barely any time is lost. Still, you do get to watch some very determined guests try to get on the train first (children or no children). It is a funny reminder that, regardless of nationality, age or status, the survival instinct can still kick in during the most peculiar situations, even when waiting for a lunchtime train.

Negative: No mosquito nets in room, impossible to open window at night because of lizards, sofa in sitting room not comfortable, deckchairs in veranda not comfortable

Positive: Concept and set up with bungalows is nice, a lot of nature, rooms are big and ok overall, pool is nice, main restaurant is ok, has a good menu base. Personell is nice and trying to help and were supportive with us after we forgot some luggage at the hotel. But the level of service they can offer is very limited by the many rules meant to control the resort instead of serving customers.
Negative: The entire property feels trapped in the 80's overall from an architectural and set up perspective, it is very big and you can't walk easily anywhere, you need to take the mini-train which comes every 30 min and is generally late, is not comfortable and no air con. So it's complicated to go anywhere, especially in the big heat... going to the beach is quite a ride, very uncomfortable, takes a long time and simply ruins the whole relaxation that a beach experience should offer. It becomes a hassle to go to/from the beach. Also, the resort is full of all sorts of ridiculous rules (i.e. you can't eat in any restaurant even if you pay, you have to book online in advance, even if tables are available on the spotm you have to fill a hotel card with money as you can't pay with your credit card, so you find yourself unable to buy water at the beach.... there is no service on the beach, you can't just exchange beach towels in any towel point... etc etc). It could be a great experience if it was made for relaxation and customer service and not control. As it is now, it feels like experiencing a highschool camp is a cheap place, although the price is not cheap and the property has potential. Also, not a lot of other options around the property, to go out and visit/ enjoy other activities.

Negative: there are strange rules (spending card (not able to spend with your own credit card), dedicated eating table at dark corners of saloon, one day advance booking of external table or table at beach restaurant, not dedicated pool for children-so dirty pool etc. you make people feeling like in prison rather than holiday village)
