Positive: They upgraded me to a suite and OMG it was so luxurious with large rooms and a great view. During my second visit, the transfer was handled much better than the first time. I didn’t have ti wait at all and they helped me with luggage and everything

Negative: Nothing major but when I wanted to visit the rooftop lounge, they could not find the elevator key for a long time. I was told to go down to the restaurant, but they didn’t have the key either, I finally caught an employee who was going there and they took me there Also I arrived at about 4PM and the pool was already closed. Kinda early for it to be closed I think

Positive: I just gave this hotel a very high score for my second visit, this review is about the first visit Overall not bad, they let me have breakfast even though it was almost over, checked me in promptly

Negative: Transfer back to airport was a bit of a mess. They told me to wait in the waiting area, after 20 min I came back to front desk, the lady acted like she didn’t recognize me and asked where I was going, then told me to talk to bell desk. The bell person asked me once again where I was going, I kept saying I needed to get to the airport and was honestly prepared to walk at this point (it’s about a 20 min walk), was told to wait again. Finally they told me to board a shuttle across the street at their other hotel (where I stayed the second time I was in ADD and it was a much better experience)

Summary: Overall great stay, but had a hiccup with transfer

Positive: Nice clean and convenient, all polite

Negative: Booked online for a check in from 2:00 PM. Flight delayed and arrived around four in the morning. That shouldn’t be a problem but the receptionist insisted on charging us for two days! Doesn’t make sense, had to argue for ages, finally the manager had to intervene, she apologised for the misunderstanding and all sorted. But we’ve arrived late and so tired, the last thing we need was kept almost an hour just because they don’t understand what 24 hours is!

Summary: Staffs need to be trained that 24 hours is midday to midday.

Positive: Excellent breakfast with a large variety of international and Ethiopian options on offer - I was spoiled for choice. The coffee was excellent as expected, with multiple refills. The room was clean and spacious with a roomy shower and separate bathtub for a quiet soak. I would definitely return for a longer stay.
