Description
Maison de la Tour is an entire town house located in the oldest part of Antibes were the Romans settled over 2000 years ago. The area is pedestrian and very residential, yet, just 3 minutes walks away from the Provencal market, restaurants, bars and of course the sea and public and private beaches.
From the exceptional sun kissed roof terrace, you will be able to enjoy a 360 degree view over Vieil Antibes, the sea , the mountains and even Nice and Cap Ferrat. The stylish lounge/dining area, which comfortably sits 6, has wonderful dim-able lighting for the evening and a large parasol to protect you from the sun during the hotter hours of the day. It is the perfect place to have breakfast, dine or just relax after a day on the beach away from the crowds. The large Weber gas barbecue allows you to have grill parties "with a view" and there is even an outdoor shower with hot and cold water.
Maison de la Tour retains many period features like white-washed wooden ceilings and beams, oak doors, terracotta and traditionally painted cement tiles. One of the rooms even has a vaulted ceiling and an antique fire place. This gives the house a wonderful Provencal and contemporary feeling.
Each of the double bedrooms is designed to accommodate your individual requirements (“chambre des drapeaux “ has 2 twin beds 90x200, “chambre des rames” has a brass king-size bed 160x200 and “chambre de l'ancre” has a brass super king-size bed 180-200). Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The one of the chambre des rames has a bathtub with a shower and a bidet, whilst the other two bathrooms have large shower cabins with rainwater showers. They all have retro-chrome fittings. The finest Egyptian cotton linen and high quality towels, including beach towels and beach bags have been chosen for your comfort and we provide complimentary luxury toiletries. Each bed room has a flat screen TV, a DVD player (multi-regional), Apple TV and a subscription to Netflix. Wifi is available throughout the house including the roof terrace.
The large modern living gourmet kitchen/dining room is situated on the 3rd floor, just below the roof terrace. It has been equipped with high end equipment and tools enabling a chef to prepare a perfect meal with local delicacies bought in the nearby Provençal market. It also includes 2 large fridges, one of them a Liebherr with an ice maker to ensure that you can enjoy properly chilled drinks.
Naturally every room has reversable air-conditioning and there is a laundry area with a large modern washing machine and a dryer.

Summary: we spent 9 days at this lovely getaway. Interior - beds were perfect (and I'm very picky here), A/C present in every room and worked like a charm, kitchen well appointed and prepared. Stairs were not an issue for us although some might struggle with the 4 floors. Exterior - the outdoor patio was used each morning and evening and gave lovely views of the surrounds. Would have liked to turn off all the lights outside (Persied meteor showers were in full swing) but couldn't figure out how. Proximity to morning coffee and boulangeries and fresh market couldn't be closer and easy walk to two great beaches. Host provided beach towels and beach bags. Overall, cannot wait to return specifically to Antibes and this location. Relaxing and perfect.

Summary: Our stay was all about food, culture and beauty. This townhome made all of those so easy to enjoy. With the market & the beach just steps away, memorable dining in the town and museums such as the Picasso museum a 3 minute walk. The home is well equipped for cooking the incredible foods from the market and the walkability made staying home bound more attractive than going on excursions most days!

Summary: This house is right in the middle of the old town yet in a quiet location. The house is perfect inside and has a gorgeous room terrace with amazing views. We stayed with our teenage daughters who loved being so close to town and also near the beach. Highly recommend it.

Summary: Book this place! This is probably the best vacation rental I have ever booked. Fantastic location (steps to Marche Provencal and to the sea), impeccably clean, well stocked kitchen, lovely terrace with a stunning view and comfortable beds. Ivan is a dream to work with, so kind and professional. The car park is maybe a 10 minute walk from the apartment The first floor is the twin room with fireplace. The bathroom for this suite is downstairs with the washer and dryer. The next floor is the double bed with an en suite bathroom (tub, shower, toilet and bidet.) There are 3-4 steps up to the toilet/bidet/shower. The next floor is the master bedroom with a bathroom right next door (toilet and shower). The top floor is the kitchen and living area. with the stairs up to the terrace. We didn't use the twin bedroom or downstairs bathroom, but the other beds were amazingly comfortable. The water pressure was great also. We didn't cook while there, but the kitchen appeared to be well stocked. I can't say enough good things about this space and Ivan. If it's available, just book it! I hope to come back to Antibes in the future and will absolutely stay here again if I can.

Summary: Amazing apartment the Old Antibes! It felt like we were staying in a boutique hotel. Three big bedrooms each with full bathroom. We stayed there with 3 couples and everyone had their own level and was very comfortable. Each bathroom had hotel amenities (blow dryer, shampoo, shower gel). Beds were extremely comfortable and high quality linens. Fully equipped kitchen. Best part of the house is the amazing roof patio with views of Old Antibes and the water. Owners were very responsive and great to coordinate with. Were helpful during the stay. Would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Antibes. It is a very special and beautiful apartment!
