Welcome to Lakehaven Cottage!
This lake front cottage is a 4 season property on Lake Du La Ferme. There are many winter and summer activities that you and your family can enjoy during your stay, such as ice skating, dog sledding (Escapade Huskimo), snowmobiling, ice fishing, skiing, zip lining, rafting, hiking etc. Comfortably sleeps 8 people. 1 king bed, 1 queen bed and a double bunk bed. We also have a pullout couch that converts to a double bed for additional guests. It's the perfect place to enjoy the sun, swim (no sea weeds), fish, canoe, motor boat and have fun in the nature. There is a boat launch on the other side of the lake for guest who want to bring their motor boats. We also have a paddle boat and a 16ft Canoe you can enjoy. The views from both living rooms are breathtaking. In the evening you can enjoy the fire pit and the night sky is perfect for stargazing. Many ATV and snowmobile trails in the area. You can enjoy a delicious and affordable meal at near by Ladysmith restaurant. local grocery store less than 10 minutes away.

Summary: Check in was seamless, very spacious and more of a house than a old style cottage. Great views, tons of natural light and windows. The kitchen is well appointed, and the deck is a must to eat meals. Southwest facing the lake, means great skies and sunsets. The water is terrific. Slow grade to the property affords space for games and relaxing without feeling limited. Azin was very responsive and a great host. Great time here.

Summary: This was just what I was looking for! A wonderful family retreat with all the amenities. We swam, paddled and cruised on the lake, the fishing was great too. We enjoyed meals inside and outside and found the kitchen well appointed for meal preparation. The sleeping areas were comfortable and there was plenty of space to spread out on rainy days for board games or good conversation. If we're ever travelling back to Otter Lake I would not hesitate to book this lovely property.

Summary: Very nice cottage, but water pressure is very poor and AC not suitable for size of cottage. P.S. this is the first time I have a request from owner to bring garbage to the dump. You would think with the cleaning charge that this would included. Othewise this a nice cottage.
