Summary: Our group of 8 adults stayed on the property after kayaking the Kickapoo. There was plenty of room for all of us. Had a bonfire and could see all the stars in the open view. Breakfast on the patio overlooking the barns was so peaceful. There were lots of thoughtful touches like having spices/seasonings for cooking and coffee pods. We would stay there again!

Summary: English Run Rental House is a large, well maintained farmhouse surrounded by greenery. All the amenities are there. Plenty of space inside and outside. We had a great time relaxing on the back yard deck, in the comfortable living room, and around the dining room table. A perfect spot.

Summary: Lots of room for everyone daughter in law left early due to ni e dropping in the bedroom upstairs. This place needs a good cleaning. The kitchen is very easy to to cook in.

Summary: I was pleasantly surprised by this house and the beautiful property it’s on! The owners are very responsive, but stay off-property and have an easy check-in process. Though, do know that it is a working farm! In the mornings, someone would come by to tend to the corn field, but it was actually quite pleasant and enjoyable to observe! It wasnt loud or intrusive at all, and didn’t last long. There’s also a very charming hunting cabin at the top of a hill behind the home with a hiking path to it! The best part of the home was how well-stocked they kept it! There were plenty of clean towels, linens, blankets, toiletries, cleaning supplies, and a stocked kitchen and coffee bar. We were able to bring our food and cook it at the property, including on the outdoor grill they have available! It was very spacious and comfortable, they even had board games and movies available to watch. The wifi was fast and reliable (and necessary since there’s no cell service out there). This is the perfect getaway if you want peace, privacy, and time to explore nature or enjoy time in a cabin-like home. You’re smack dab in a beautiful part of bluff country, with nearby access to the Kickapoo and Wisconsin rivers. Plenty of opportunity to plan days out at some of the best natural parks that Wisconsin has to offer!
