Positive: John met us at a pre-arranged place in the village and led us to the property. The cottage is tucked under the castle walls and is a short walk to the centre, with plenty of shops and eating places. Both the inside and outside spaces are well designed and cared for. John was available for any queries but never obtrusive.
Negative: Liked every aspect of the cottage, but if people are looking for vibrant local nightlife or have mobility problems (fairly steep streets but okay for reasonably fit people in 70’s) this may not be the place for them

Positive: We really enjoyed our stay! The apartment offered great value for money, and we couldn't have asked for a better host. John was always available to assist with anything we needed and shared excellent tips for local restaurants and sightseeing. Highly recommended!
Negative: We really enjoyed our stay—the house was lovely and had everything we needed. However, as some other guests have mentioned, the walk up to the house involves a bit of a climb. It's something to keep in mind for those with mobility issues.

Positive: The place was absolutely lovely! The bed, pillows, were the most comfortable I've slept in for a while and the house with all the windows closed is dark enough that you will sleep peacefully until woken up. There is no noise. There is a little closed backyard to relax in and enjoy a nice glass of wine, which the hosts are kind enough to provide, as well as some delicious biscuits. Everything was according to our needs!

Positive: This is a really lovely little property. The inside space is small but it is nicely renovated and comfortable. The outside space is really well done and spacious and would be great in better weather!
Negative: Nothing! Just to note there are several steps to get to the property which are unavoidable.
