Positive: Everything was very good! The place is managed by a friendly and gentle family. Although the water level was low, the location was excellent with a beautiful view. The facilities of the residence were complete and comfortable.

Negative: Although everything was great, there were two small issues: because of the horses, there were quite a lot of flies during the day, and at night, the outdoor area was very dark due to insufficient lighting.

Positive: Everything was great! The host was very friendly and helpful. The place is quiet, super clean, and has everything you might need — especially in the well-equipped little kitchen. The territory is spacious and well-organized, with an amazing pool and a beautiful view of the river.

Negative: As this was a wooden house, and the fan for ar conditioner hung to the wooden wall, it was quite noisy

Negative: The cabin was a little smaller than we expected but we coped. It was a short stay, but for longer we would prefer larger.

Positive: Imagine being in the middle of the country side, expecting it to be difficult for everything being clear of insects, leaves, anything that you would expect to appear in the countryside, then realise that everything is so neatly and perfectly taken care of, very clean all the time. But you don't even notice the constant effort for maintaining everything clean. That's because your rest is never interrupted, you get to experience the calmness of the country side, all the time. The family is very nice and cordial all the time. It's perfect for relaxing, enjoy the pool, disconnect from the the daily life.

Positive: Location was absolutely amazing! The family were lovely. The chalet we stayed in was perfect! Very clean and had everything we needed. The refreshing cocktails by the beautiful pool, having horses swim in the reservoir, the really helpful and friendly hosts. It was perfect!

Positive: The property is really nice - peaceful & with a great view of the river. It was quiet at night, being a fairly remote area.

Negative: We didn't really like the way it was set up. We've found the accommodation around Portugal to be very flexible & accommodating, allowing cooking on rural properties with facilities provided. This property charges for the use of a bbq, you have to buy their charcoal, they even charge you to rent utensils (bbq tools, plates & cutlery)! To cook the bbq costs more than the food to go on it! When we asked to use 2 drinking glasses, they had to check if that was ok as they usually rent them with plates (they did provide 2 after a couple of hours). We arrived late so brought our dinner, we had leftover cheese (2 small pieces) & asked to put them in the communal fridge, we were told the fridge was for other rooms, not ours but they would again check (they didn't come back to us so it went bad overnight). Overall, the family is friendly but just not very accommodating & that takes away from the atmosphere of the place.
