Positive: The self check in was smooth and the room was very comfortable. It had everything needed. :) I really appreciated tea bags, sugar and coffee as well as shower gell and shampoo.

Positive: Located in the city centre, calm place. Clean and well equipped room, nice bathroom with a spatious shower.

Negative: The room is small, it is place only for sleeping. If you have heavy luggages it will be a challenge to carry them upstairs.

Positive: The room was situated in a building on a quiet street. Access to the historic centre and pedestrian zones was within easy reach on foot within 10 minutes. The instructions provided by the host to access the room were clear and the room size itself was satisfactory and clean.

Negative: The bed in the room I was given was not the most comfortable, as either the mattress, or bedspring, made squeaking noises whenever you moved. This may need to be looked into by the owner. However, I discovered that reaching the owner was only possible via Whatsapp text messages, as calls to the number provided were not answered.

Positive: The place was tidy, cozy, and spotless. Fresh bed sheets and towels were provided, along with a coffee machine and complimentary coffee pods. The bathroom was stocked with shampoo and shower gel. The owner was exceptionally polite and helpful, always responding to our messages within minutes. Free parking was available.

Negative: There was no elevator and we were on the top floor, but that is the trade-off for staying in the heart of Modena, in a charming, historic building.

Summary: A cozy, well-equipped stay in the heart of Modena with a super host.
