Summary: Emilys Nook was perfect for us, everything we needed for our break away after a stressful few months. It is in a small peaceful village with walks from the door over the Caldbeck Fells, the views are breathtaking to Bassenthwaite and the Cumbria coast. Bassenthwaite is only a short drive. The cherry on the cake was a cooling refreshment in the pub before climbing the stairs for dinner. If your worried about noise from the pub, don't be, we were pleasantly surprised how little noise there is.
