Positive: very clean place. friendly and helpful staff. Clean bathroom. The location seemed weird when I tried to get there at night but when I checked out, I realized it was close to a lot of restaurants and shops. And also the beach.

Negative: the bed was uniquely uncomfortable. They wanted to make money charging for a room in their house without making any investment in bed. Mattress was thin and very hard. And the weirdest part was that it was covered in one of those plastic coverings you put on a mattress when your kid wets the bed. So, it made crunchy noises every time you moved. The bedside table and dresser was also covered in plastic. I get that you want to protect your stuff but this doesn't make for a homey experience. No desk in the room if one wanted to do some work. Chairs not particularly comfortable. They told me that I shouldn't drink the tap water and instead should drink bottled water which I found strange because I drank the tap water everywhere else in Oman. SO, I don't know what that was about. I was only there for a very short time in between flights but couldn't rest at all due to the uncomfortableness of the bed.

Positive: Neat and clean Great host Spacious room and good view towards the sea (as seen in the images) All necessary amenities available at the property They even included an ironing board and ironing box on request

Negative: It was on second floor and no elevator facility. Had to take the stairs. ( not mentioned while booking) They accept only cash AC took a bit more time to cool Passable WiFi speed
