Positive: Having visited islands around Thailand previously, this is by far the best resort, room and experience we have had! From the moment we slid open the patio doors to our own private plunge pool - and with the beach lapping a matter of yards away - we knew we hadn't booked this place for long enough! It is a bit away from anything to do, but it was the peace and quiet we wanted and there is no better place for that! Simply ask reception to hire a moped and travel to the sandbar at Laem Haad beach and when you get there, you won't be wanting to do anything strenuous anyway... The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us and we booked the romantic candlelight dinner on the beach - but the rains due to come, rather than just take our money, they advised us to cancel. Not many places would do that would they? There is NOTHING not to like about the Beachfront Villa with Pool at Elixir Resort and we will be going back 100%!
Negative: Nothing! Everything far exceeded our expectations. The only thing we didn't like was the fact that we had only booked for two nights because the moment we saw the outdoor bath (big enough for two) and shower, we knew we should have stayed here longer!

Positive: The bungalow was cute…loved the outdoor shower. Pool area was lovely as well.
Negative: Unfortunately, the beach front wasn’t the best for swimming due to rocks… and like everywhere on the island there is garbage / debris on the beaches. The staff do their best to keep the grounds clean :)

Negative: furniture is quite worn. restaurant and tiki bar very basic. its in a remote, very poor area of the island, nothing else around
