Positive: Excellent understanding staff members after being put into the hotel by easyjet due to cancelled flights. I extended my stay a few nights in order to ensure I made it home in the manic cancellation of flights over a couple of days. The reception staff were excellent at understanding the situation, me booking extra days via booking.com and sorting out the extra days stay. Room was good quality, a lot of effort was put in by the cleaners to ensure the room was ready for me and the unexpected extension. Really pulled out all the cards for me during a stressful time and it was very much appreciated. The staff were respectful, understanding and unexpectedly knowledgeable on easyjet policies.

Negative: Whilst I couldn't recommend the hotel enough, the food and breakfast was on the expensive side. Apart from that no complaints.

Positive: Friendly attentive and helpful staff, really lovely rooms and spa facilities. The breakfast was also very good with a big variety of items. I was upgraded from a cosy double to executive suite and it was extremely comfortable, especially the super king bed.

Positive: Convenient to Gatwick if you’re driving. There is a dairy/corner store 100m from the hotel. Short drive/walk to town centre. Great sized room.

Negative: Small bathroom. Need to lift suitcases over and down a few steps and roll them over carpets.

Positive: Very clean reception staff were nice.

Negative: We were taken out of our beds as the fire alarms went off. 2.50am no one told us where to go we were upstairs right at the back. We then got to stand out side for 1hr. Until fire truck made their decision. An older gentleman was left on his own he had two sicks hardly able to walk in a thin gown. I asked the staff to help but got ignored. After 20 mins the gentleman was given a chair and a fleece gown. It was very unorganised.. no apology either just told to go back to rooms 3.45am.. we were not given any compensation.. I just think they could have given guest a free breakfast or extra time in room the next morning..

Summary: Comfortable clean but staff need to practice more for fire safety.. help special assistance people first.
