Positive: Such a beautiful hotel and friendly staff. I felt very looked after and welcome. They were also happy to store a bag when I went away for a few days. Top service all round. Super friendly staff who were keen to have a chat which is always welcome when you travel by yourself. I will be back.

Positive: Nice hotel in a a majestic school building. The gym is very good and the beds are as well.

Negative: The breakfast is not impressive. There is plenty to choose from but the hot part (eggs - scrambled, boiled, - sausages etc) was not warm at all. The staff at the restaurant was not impressive either, - forgot my drinks order, then after I repeated it, they said they might not have any more and asked for me to choose a second option..... Then they forgot my main course, and started doing it even though I said I didn't want it because I had waited for so long - and when it came it was obviously also something they had taken out of a fridge and not heated well enough.

Summary: Nice hotel - no need to take the breakfast or use the restaurant
