Positive: The hotel accommodation was fine and the breakfast was fine. The overall stay was fine. I would not say the hotel was dirty, but it did not feel clean. There was just something about it that felt a little tired and in need of freshening up.

Negative: Some of the repairs looked as though they had been done to the greatest cost efficiency rather than with care. It just felt a little tired and in need of some attention.

Positive: Staff were pleasant and helpful at all times Good location and close to the station.

Negative: On arrival the hotel only had 1 of my room bookings on their system. Fortunately I had email confirmation that I had booked 2 rooms and they were able to find a 2nd room. The mirror in the bathroom had been hung by a very tall person - impossible for anyone of 'normal' height to see into it! Service at breakfast was EXTREMELY slow. Part of order was 'forgotten' and food that arrived later was no longer hot! - seemed very short of staff, who were apologetic

Positive: We checked in late as at festival and they rang to confirm and left the key out for us with a welcoming note at the desk

Negative: Lack of parking as I have a blue badge but couldn’t park in the bay as would have blocked the entrance but can park in carpark next door for a small fee :)
