Positive: The staff were very friendly and helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable. The room was spacious and clean. The shower was very hot. The food was very good and the price was reasonable. The safari was organized by the staff and it was an incredible experience and the price was very good. Our guide was perfect, he knew a lot and could identify the animals very well. He was very friendly. Communication was very good even before we arrived. And the food provided was very tasty. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone planning to stay in this area. Excellent value for money.

Positive: The bed was huge and the bathroom was fantastic. It was a great place to relax and unwind after a long day on safari. The safari was organised by the owner and we had a great driver and a jeep to ourselves. We did the full day safari and can't recommend it enough. The food at the Shed was delicious.

The location is excellent, the rooms are clean, well maintained and equipped with modern amenities that provide a comfortable stay. Conveniently located near major attractions. It was a great place to relax. Their safari in particular was great. The price was reasonable. The driver was good. Blessings to all.

Positive: The property is very clean. Two comfortable large beds. The manager was very kind and helpful, he was there to make our stay nice. The place is very peaceful, they gave us fruits or dinner. The safari was good, we got to see a lot of elephants. They are cute. Free WiFi provided. The next day we were taken to Abilipitiya by bus.

Positive: A very beautiful property in the middle of beautiful nature. The bungalow was very nice and the bathroom was really cool. The staff were friendly and attentive. We booked a safari through the hotel and were so glad we had a wonderful driver/guide. He was very knowledgeable, knew how to identify different birds and animals and took us close to elephants. He was a very good driver and we felt safe.

Positive: The owner and his wife were amazing. They provided us with everything we needed. They arranged the Udawalawe safari and gave us a drive. It was a private trip as no one else had booked it. He also arranged a car for our onward journey. The wife prepared us an excellent Sri Lankan dinner with fresh ingredients. The facilities are not what one would describe as modern but it is important to say that the price reflects that. All things considered, I highly recommend this accommodation.

Positive: The location was great. We could walk to restaurants and the internet was fast enough to upload YouTube videos. These are the nicest people in the world. The breakfast they prepared was amazing. But we also eat lunch there. They have a cute little gazebo thing and they serve food and it's all homemade and delicious. They arranged for an elephant tour guide and he did a wonderful job. They will take amazing care of you. They will also answer questions about how to get there so you can take the bus or taxi for cheap if you want. They know everything and share everything freely.

Positive: Beautiful en-suite bedroom with bathroom, two double beds, dressing table. Drinking water is readily available and the owner will make you freshly brewed (proper) coffee or tea whenever you want. Wonderful breakfast with freshly cut local fruit, yoghurt, perfect omelette, pancakes if desired. Safari was very good. Lots of elephants in udawalwe.

Positive: We really loved the Safari and guide provided by accommodation. The guide was really next level, he is skilled and explain a lot of wild nature during the trip. The accommodation was tidy and clean, we enjoyed the stay. Also the breakfast and dinners were delicious.
