Positive: Everything was fantastic. Breakfast was good but shut down early. 9:30 doors were shut, we arrived for breakfast at 9:15 and took the last helping and then they closed the doors to the grill. No yogurt in the yogurt bar . In their defense, we were there the morning the time change.

Negative: See breakfast response.

Summary: Definitly will be back for another stay

Positive: Best thing about this hotel is that it's very new, modern, and clean. My room was bigger than I expected and had a small kitchenette. Easy self-parking. Spacious elevators. Loved the free wine-and-cheese happy hour in the lobby bar area and especially loved the free breakfast (with a nice chef spooning out gourmet scrambled eggs and, one day, making pancakes). Fresh baked goods like banana and blueberry muffings; plenty of fruit and yogurt and cereal. Good juices; gourmet digital coffeemaker. Lots of comfortable areas to sit and visit with friends in the lobby, or watch the big screen TV. The people at the front desk were friendly and professional. I blew out the electricity in the bathroom with my hair dryer from home and the front desk guy was able to go up to my third floor and quickly reset the plug (from a box in the hallway, I take it). I saw that laundry machines are available since it's a long-stay hotel. I did not see or use the pool or the workout facilities.

Negative: My friend is allergic to dogs and was told that dogs were only allowed in rooms on the first floor, and she was on the second floor, but she saw (and heard) a dog on her second-level floor and a man with a large dog got off my elevator to go to his room on the third floor. The dogs we saw were all well-behaved, but I'm not sure the hotel was aware of who did and didn't have a dog, since you can park and enter via a side entrance with a key card. Taking a left out of the hotel's parking lot on busy 4-lane Pittsfield Rd to drive south to Lenox (a quick 5 min away) was quite difficult; we needed two people to be looking both ways for gaps in the traffic.

Positive: The facilities were amazing - fab indoor pool, excellent, large well equipped gym. In house launderette. Hotel is new so was beautifully clean. Ample parking.

Negative: Air con was a bit lively !
