Inside, antique furnishings and traditional materials blend seamlessly with modern comforts like king-size beds, en-suite bathrooms, flat-screen TVs, and high-speed internet.
The grounds are a summer dream: enjoy boating on the pond, relax in your private garden, or let children play on the swing and trampoline. Summary: Een werkelijk prachtige plek: in een soort micro dorpje van oude zandstenen huizen en boerderijen en een landgoed. OP de heuvel (100m) een oude kerk die helaas gesloten is voior het publiek (er schijnen bizarre beelden in te staan). Het huis is ruim, goed geïsoleerd en met een grote open haard centraal in de huiskamer. Ook een open haard (maar niet te gebruiken) op een van de slaapkamers. helaas ruiken beide open haarden constant naar rook. Die lucht hangt in een een flink deel van het huis. Het went wel snel. De open haard in dekamer kan je gebruiken (er is hout), maar aanmaken moet je rigoreus doen, anders staat het hele huis vol rook (ja, ook met de schoorsteenklep helemaal open). Die rooklucht kostte dit huis voor ons 1 ster. Voor de rest: geweldig! Je hebt een groot stuk eigen tuin grenzend aan een heel grote vijver. Creuilly (2 km verderop) heeft alle voorzieningen en is zelf ook erg charmant als stadje.

Summary: Het huis was fantastisch. Mooi ingericht, voorzien van alle gemakken en drie badkamers, smaakvol. Alles werkt prima en is in goede staat. Open haard is uitstekend, keuken mooi en goed uitegrust. Kortom, een meer dan prima vakantieverblijf.

Summary: Prachtig mooi huis, heerlijke bedden en goede douches. Bad niet ideaal, geen mogelijkheid om douche op te hangen en geen douchegordijn waardoor groot waterballet maar ach… dat droogt wel weer! Ruime woonkamer beneden verwarmd door open haard. We hebben genoten in de avond na een dag op pad te zijn geweest… heerlijk! Vanuit accommodatie genoeg te doen in de omgeving, wij hebben genoten. Enige nadeel is dat als iedereen in de ochtend heeft gedoucht er in de avond geen warm water meer was… dit had waarschijnlijk ook te maken met de buren die in de avond (nogmaals) gebruik hadden gemaakt banned douche. Eigenaar spreekt geen Engels zoals wel in de omschrijving staat… met hand-en voetwerk kwamen we er wel uit maar was wel teleurstelling. Verder superweek gehad!
