Positive: Breakfast was excellent. Rooms are nicely laid out with a kitchen in addition to the bedroom. A balcony with excellent views of the city is a plus. The location is excellent near all the main business areas of Contagem. Also walking distance to the metro train taking you to Belo Horizonte city.

Negative: Could use a couple more hangers in the closet. Nothing else.

Summary: Hotel Eldorado Flat has become my go to hotel when I am in the Contagem area.

Positive: The breakfast was excellent. In fact, it may have been the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had.

Negative: I expected a room safe that wasn’t immediately available. The room air conditioner was difficult to work with, but could have been due to my language barrier. The staff did change the battery in the AC remote which helped some. One of the room cards would not open the door.

Summary: The friendly, competent and responsive staff resolved initial room issues.
