Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: A nice large room and the heating was already on, so nice and toasty. Parking in their garage was very secure. Pet friendly - they have a very friendly Labrador and there was no additional fee for my cat to stay. There was also a bonus room that's not mentioned in the listing - a kitchenette/dining room with a microwave, plates, sink etc so although meals aren't provided you could cook something yourself.

Negative: "Host speaks English" - hmm, don't know about that. But we managed to communicate fine with Google translating! The house is on an unmettled track parallel to the main road, and I had some difficulty finding it - I've attached a photo of it on Google maps so others might find it easier. I found the bed mattress a bit on the firm side, but it certainly wasn't hard. And although the bathroom was spotlessly clean, the shower was decidedly on the cool side, even turned up to maximum.
