Positive: This is one of the most exquisite properties I stayed at during the couple of weeks I spent driving around Spain. One could describe El Molino as an amalgamation of a Swiss chalet and a cozy English manor! It's in a village at the end of a gorgeous drive winding through a natural park. David is one part of a husband-wife team that operate this gorgeous 10 key property; he is one of the most hospitable innkeepers you will meet. He loves what he does and its indicative in the attention to detail he has put into the rooms and other areas within the property. I was there rather impromptu and only for the evening but I highly recommend an extended stay (carry some nice food and wine!), sit in the verandah or the gardens overlooking the hills and enjoy some of the best hospitality Cantabria and Spain have to offer! PS. Ask David to direct you to the waterfall by the property, it's a lovely walk and fairly close by!

Negative: David is very humble and doesn't brag about this property enough!

Positive: Very nice and helpful host. Large room and bathroom. Located near a small river with a large well kept lawn and fruit trees. We were hiking, but noticed also a large car park.

Positive: Amazing house in a breathtaking location! The house and the bedroom were beautifully decorated and super clean, beds were comfortable. Our room had a patio so we woke up to amazing views. We were walking Camino Lebaniego and the host gave us lots of useful information about the route. He was super friendly and accommodating. We had dinner in nearby restaurant and breakfast at El Molino. Breakfast was toast with homemade plum jam and cola cao. Host was kind enough to prepare us lunch to go which consisted of delicious sandwich, soft drink and fruit. That was exactly what we needed as no bars or shops on that day. Everything was great. Thank you again for such a lovely stay.

Positive: David, the host, is very welcoming, service oriented and provides you with great local information. Stunning views from the room towards the Picos. Nice garden and bar/restaurant for breakfast, snacks, light meal, drinks. El Molino is off the beaten track, but an excellent base for some great hiking.

Negative: Nothing comes to mind.
