Positive: Absolutely amazing location with lots of privacy and great views. The village is lovely. The apartment is spacious and has everything you need for a few days' stay.

Negative: It was rather cold, which of course is normal for an alpine area in January, but I think the apartment could do with one extra heater.

Positive: Very comfortable apartment with amazing views! The kitchen was well equipped and we were also happy about the drying rack on the balcony to air some clothes.

Positive: Great location for Teide National Park and its trails. Great location of the house in relation to the town of Vilaflor. Parking space next to the apartment. Amazing view from the apartment windows. Sunrises from the balcony are a real pleasure. Nice and helpful owner of the apartment.

Negative: As someone has already mentioned, there are four-wheelers whizzing by on the road below, so the noise during the day is quite high. Upon arrival, it turned out that the air conditioning was not working, but it was not a problem for us. If you need air conditioning/heating, write a message to the owner before booking and ask if it has been fixed. The apartment had a separate small portable heater. In general, the sun shone only during the day and in late afternoon/evening mountain casted a good shadow so it was never hot to sleep there (we stayed in the beginning of September). Halfway through the trip, we changed several apartments and learned that most often the owners of the apartments do not maintain them themselves but hire people or companies who often do it in a bad way. In this case, the towels were washed, but not well, because black sand fell out of them during first use. Also, the towels are old and had a stale smell after the first time they got wet that had to be aired out constantly. The front of the bed rises when you sit right on its foot end, so we needed to pay attention to this and be careful. These apartments were the best in this price range, location and views where we stayed in Tenerife, and we stayed in 5 places.

Positive: Location is absolutly great - especially if you want to explore sunrise at the top of Teide (only 30min to parking). Host was helpful, parking was close and views were breathtaking. Cold for this time of year (14° in the apartment), electric heater inside might be not enough for someone. Minus for smelly refrigerator 🤧

Positive: Great little place with - as the same suggests - incredible views towards the south. Lovely gardens, cute balcony, and Vilaflor is a great little town & the perfect location for hiking around Teide volcano. Nice restaurants & small shops within walking distance.

Negative: Please be aware that this is a fairly small 'studio' appartment where everything (except the bathroom) is combined into a single room - that was not an issue for us, but YEMY.
