Positive: Great location close to the beach. We had a well-equipped, clean room which was above the pool. The bed was massive and very comfortable. We asked if our room could be moved from the restaurant because we had read reviews to say it was noisy, and the front desk staff was very accommodating. Free on street parking was only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. You can unload your luggage at the loading bay directly outside the hotel. We didn’t pay $40 to park the car! The San Diego trolley tour stop is near to the hotel too. As we only had one day in the city, this was a great way to see it. Would recommend!

Negative: The rooms were slightly dated but clean so not a big deal.

Positive: Amazing customer service. We loved how we could communicate with the front desk via text and they checked in with us throughout our stay. Every staff member was very pleasant and professional.

Negative: The rooms are not at all sound proof. Quite a bit of noise from outside and other rooms during the day.

Positive: We liked the size and funiture of the apartment. Friendly staff. Close to the beach. Nice little balcony.

Negative: You had to go through the bedroom to get to the bathroom, which was a bit inconvenient since one person was sleeping in the livingroom. Tv in bedroom did not work.

Positive: El Cordova is located just across the street from the beach and shops and restaurants. The best location.

Negative: When we woke up after our first night and began to wash up in the morning, the sink would not drain. It was completely clogged. The shower handle was difficult to use and scalded us that first morning. Broken lamp in living room too. It was a very noisy hotel. It is not possible to sleep in. There is an alley for deliveries just outside the bedroom windows. While we were there, it seemed that the guests and cleaning staff dragged their carts and luggage up the stairs making lots of "thud" noises early in the morning.
