Summary: EKA Hotel provided a comfortable stay, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. The lobby area was nicely furnished, with pleasant décor that created a warm first impression. However, the hotel’s transition during upgrades interfered somewhat with the overall experience. Our room’s television had not been fully programmed, leaving us with limited channels and no ability to sign into our streaming services. The guest room itself was simple, with no decorative wall features, and the bathroom was very plain. Overall, the stay was comfortable, but the in-progress upgrades were noticeable and affected some of the expected amenities.
