Negative: More focus could have been on cleaning before we got there. I also think there was something scratching above the ceiling.

Positive: This was a budget-friendly stay considering everyone got their own private space for half the price of sharing a single hotel room. The location was great, being within walking distance of the small downtown area, as long as you don’t mind hills. Overall, the place was clean and convenient.

Negative: This is an old house, and with old houses come interesting quirks — nearly every room of this house has a small step up or step down, which, if you’re not careful, can lead to some stubbed toes and bumped foreheads. The bathroom is small and dated with duct tape standing in for outlet covers. The shower drips and the curtain does not contain the water too well. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hairdryer are not provided, so be sure to bring your own. The mattresses were comfortable enough, however, they are covered in plastic in the front bedroom which crunches every time you move and by stained mattress cover in the middle bedroom. The third “bedroom” is more of an enclosed porch with a makeshift breakfast bar and pass-through to the kitchen. The outside patio area wasn’t very usable as it was crowded by a strange, large, rusty metal barrel, and was lit by an extremely bright floodlight. The broken toilet in the backyard was also rather unsightly. All in all, the place was priced right for what it was — functional not fancy.

Positive: Everything was clean and the rooms were set up really cute. Full size appliances including a washer and dryer. Coffee maker. Free WiFi. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The host was very nice and helpful and gave detailed instructions. Great price as well especially if traveling with friends or family.
