Positive: The situation. In the old town. Very lovely. The bistro downstairs is very good, and the service (the waiter) was exceptionally kind and friendly.

Negative: However, the soundproofing is not good because of the tiled floor. We were woken up by a woman who was speaking very loudly and walking around in her shoes for a long time before taking them off. This noise traveled easily through the floor.

Positive: The location is unbeatable, the rooms are comfortable and very nicely decorated. The selection of pillows is also great, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hotel staff are very friendly.

Negative: The hotel description mentioned a swimming pool, but it did not specify anywhere that only children aged 12 or 14 and above (it was not clear which) could use it. My 11-year-old son was disappointed. I recommend that you add to the hotel description that the swimming pool can only be used by adults aged x and above.

Positive: The Einstein Hotel is very chic. Our room was a 'standard' room, really nice, excellent bedding and comfortable. There was a very serviceable minibar, which was a nice surprise. I would have also liked to visit their bar which looked fun, but we were too busy. The breakfast was really good. The hotel is super close to the Abbey and Library. An excellent plus was access to a very high standard wellness area with pool, saunas and weight rooms.

Summary: Perfect hotel to visit St. Gallen ... Trés chic ... with great wellness facilities
