Positive: Very cozy place in a beautiful, more remote area - a little ways away from Alesund but certainly close enough to drive easily! The owner gave us a very tasty welcome gift of cider and was super helpful in making recommendations for the area as well - we had an amazing time!

Negative: It’s a cozy place, a bit easy to knock one’s head going downstairs as you do have to duck a bit, and the floors do creak quite a lot if upstairs (beds are upstairs though, so, not a huge deal) - overall, nothing that can’t be managed or that outweighs how awesome it is!

Positive: The apartment/house was exactly as described and expected. The host was very kind, helpful, and flexible. We had everything we needed. We also received assistance with additional issues that went beyond the standard. The place is a bit far from Alesund, but that suited us.

Positive: Sven & Annette were the most friendly and hospitable hosts you can imagine! They gave us suggestions about the surroundings and nice scenic routes to drive. The house has everything you need and more. Nice view and outdoor space. Supermarket and pizza place are only a 2 minute drive.

Positive: No breakfast, it was a shop close. Easy to find, nice host. The place have all you need for self household and here is a lot of space. No problem to be a family or a group here.

Negative: For us that just needed one night sleep, came late, left early I could like a better price. But for staying some days, being more people then the price and place would be perfect. Good value for the money.

Summary: This is a good place to stay. Big, nice and clean. It have everything you need.

Positive: We loved staying here in the old barn! So roomy and cozy! We loved the big kitchen and the den downstairs. So nice to be able to spread out. Location was perfect for us, being out of the way but not far from Alesund. Would book here again for sure! Also the host was so very helpful!

Negative: There are steep stairs down which at night makes finding the way to the bathroom a little adventure.
