Positive: From the moment we arrived, our experience was exceptional. Edi, the owner, is truly an incredible person who has created something special here. He is extremely hospitable, and we shared many meaningful and interesting conversations that made our stay even more memorable. I booked the Executive Suite, and the view was absolutely breathtaking, snowy mountains and waterfalls right outside the window. Waking up to that scenery was unforgettable. The place itself is very cosy, peaceful, and quiet, making it perfect for relaxation and disconnecting from everything. Dinner was another highlight, simple, homemade, and prepared with fresh local products from the owner. Everything was incredibly tasteful and authentic. Breakfast the next morning was just as amazing, again with fresh, high-quality ingredients that made it feel like a real local experience. Overall, everything exceeded expectations. If I ever find myself in the area again (hopefully soon), I would absolutely return and stay longer without hesitation.

Positive: We stayed in one of the newly opened guestrooms on the rim of the canyon. It was stylishly decorated, with beautiful views. Our host was extremely friendly and hospitable. Both dinner and breakfast were copious and delicious. For my wife and me, Edis Dacha was a pleasant one-night stop on our way back to Tbilisi from Vardzia.

Negative: The immediate neighborhood in which Edis Dacha is situated is not nice at all. As soon as you leave the property, you encounter homes and roads in disrepair. Just up the road, there's a large Israeli investment project that's turning the canyon into a resort destination. I was not impressed. The project features water slides, go-kart tracks, and a sky bridge across the canyon. It all felt rather tacky to me and detracted from the natural beauty of the canyon.

Positive: Beautiful building from 1936 on the edge of the canyon. You can see eagles circling around their nest from the garden. The pool also has this canyon view, sauna costs GEL 120 extra per hour. This guy renovated this place in 4 years, well done! Both dinner and breakfast are tasty, for dinner you have to let the owner know before 17:00h what you want to eat. Comfy bed and good shower with amenities in bathroom and enough toilet paper.

Negative: Since it's an older house with wooden floors and inner walls, you may hear sounds from others, a buzzing noise from I guess the heating system and barking dogs outside. For a more sustainable breakfast: ask guests the evening before what they would like to have, as it was way too much, including some sort of tagliatelle pasta. Maybe it's a cultural or generation difference, but we also found it unusual that the owner was watching noisy videos on his phone while guests were eating. No breakfast option before 09:00h but it was also foggy outside till 10:00h (time when Diamond Bridge opens). For guests it would be useful if any information can be shared about walks/hikes in the area.

Positive: Omg i cant even describe how amazing was our stay at Edis! This is a family owned property, Armen and his daughter were extremely welcoming! Amazing area with stunning views and heated mini pool!!! We were lucky to catch warm day and relax. Great breakfast, best eggs and tomatoes I've ever had! For lunch/dinner reach out to property in advance to place order, and its worth it, crazy delicious. I would definitely come back for another stay in warm days😍
