Summary: What an amazing find. Tucked away on the edge of the village, Edgcott house is the perfect weekend bed and breakfast get away. Penny and Simon, your hosts, welcome you into their exquisite home like old friends. The house is spotlessly clean, warm and inviting, everything you could want in such elegant comfort. The whole feel of the place is just so refined but homely. My wife and I had had a stressful day before we arrived because of car issues but once there we just relaxed into the peace and quiet. So much so that we stayed an extra night. Breakfast was a real treat and you know that cooking is a passion in the house by the bookcase full of cookery books in the hallway. No half measures here with copious use of local ingredients and home grown produce. Penny successfully reminded me how much I like rhubarb for breakfast! We cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough and we were even able to take our dog. We shall return again.

Summary: We had a lovely stay at this charming property. Our hosts were excellent. Easy parking. Warm, comfortable and clean bed with generous ensuite. Breakfast was really good! Will definitely include this on our list of places to stay again. Highly recommended.

Summary: A lovely place to stay all round, spotlessly clean, with great hosts. Great breakfast served in an impressive room. Our room (no.1) was spacious and very comfortable with a great view of the front garden area and countryside beyond. Very peaceful. Easily walkable into Exford village along a very quiet country road.
