Negative: Food is expensive if you compare it to a restaurant. There was mold in the bathroom and the room smelled humidity. Wi-fi was unstable and available only in common areas.

Positive: It was a beautiful, green space where you could relax and really feel like you're on holiday. I travelled with friends and the place was so nice that we didn't even feel like going out to see the city! It was much cooler too, with all of the trees and plants,

Negative: The animals there looked sad (the peacocks and goats). I think they could benefit from a larger and cleaner environment... or freedom!

Positive: We had a wonderful stay at Ecolodge La Palmeraie. It was such a relaxing place to stay at the end of our Morocco road trip. The plants around the place were lovely, and the ambience was so tranquil and calming. We enjoyed the pool and my children used it often during our stay. All the staff were very nice and friendly! Our beds were very comfortable and it was nice to have en-suite facilities and air conditioning. All in all, a very lovely and relaxing place to stay! Thank you.

Negative: I felt this lodge was quite expensive and therefore it would have been nice to have a few extra touches, like soaps and shampoo in the bathroom, maybe an extra toilet roll or two for guests staying more than a couple of nights. Maybe a fridge to keep water cool. The food in the evening was ok, but a few more drink choices (like coke zero or sprite or apple juice) may have been nice, especially for the children. Breakfast was not great. We have travelled all over Morocco on our road trip and the best breakfast was provided in the cheapest accomodation! We paid just 20 euros for a night's stay near the ouzard falls and breakfast was plentiful including Morocco porridge, hot breads, fruit and cold water to accompany the orange juice and hot coffees and teas. However, in this Ecolodge which was quite expensive, the breakfast was a bit disappointing. Everything was cold, including the coffee, and the food was just not that good. Given the price paid, I think a slightly improved breakfast would make a big difference.

Positive: Fabulous gardens, great pool (though too cold in December!) and nicely designed rooms; incredibly peaceful base to explore Ouazarzate - this is our second time here as the kids love it, and we would return. The bungalows have their own kitchen and bathroom so you can cook for yourselves if prefer - but the 'berber omelette' is GREAT.

Summary: Incredibly picturesque gardens with pool, restaurant and bar (plus goats, chickens and peacocks!)

Positive: We really liked the place with the garden, the animals and the outdoor spaces. Also the tent was very cozy and confortable. The food at diner and breakfast was also really good.

Negative: It is a little bit far from the city, so if you don't have a car it is hard to get there. But we rented some bikes and we could get to town in 20 min. We would like to come back in a warmer period to enjoy the pool and gardens a bit more.

Positive: Friendly staff, nice food and good accomodation. Especially the bungalows are great (we booked 1 tent and 1 bungalow). We misread the details and were surprised to find out that if you stay in a tent then you do not have a private bathroom. But as said, that's only because we misread the details. Overall this is a nice place to stay.

Negative: Shared bathroom if you stay in a tent. Our own mistake.
